Support engineer
Open to candidates located in Panamá.
Job Mission:
Resolve application incidents caused by component errors and configuration issues, ensuring system stability and optimal performance. Recommend best practices for application environment configuration and coordinate enhancement or development requests with the corresponding technical teams.
Technical Profile:
Hands-on technical professional with a strong operational mindset, focused on day-to-day application support. Demonstrates solid technical diagnostic skills, with the ability to analyze databases (SQL Server), review .NET code, and work with web services to support stable and reliable application operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (completed or near completion).
- Minimum 3 years of experienceproviding technical support for software products.
- Bilingual Spanish – English(tests and interviews will be conducted in English).
- Proven experience with programming languages and databases, including:
- VB6
- Advanced C#
- JavaScript
- MS SQL Server (advanced)
- Oracle (basic/intermediate)
Systems and Infrastructure knowledge:
- Windows Server
- IIS
- Basic networking concepts
- Ability to read and understand C# code for troubleshooting.
- Open to candidates located in Panama, with availability to work night shifts aligned with Guatemala time
- Flexibility with shifts and schedules (bonuses apply for completed shifts and hours).
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Experience in the banking industry is a plus.
- Availability to work night schedules due to project requirements.
